Terms · beta

A small tool, a simple deal.

Use the beta, keep your files, don’t blame us if a site redesign breaks an adapter. This page is the whole agreement.

Effective 23 October 2026 · version 1.0

Beta software. Threadmark is provided free, as-is, during its beta. It is not affiliated with any AI provider. You are responsible for the content you export and for complying with the terms of the sites you use.

1. The licence

You may install and use this beta build for personal or internal business use. You may inspect the JavaScript that ships in the ZIP. You may not redistribute a modified build under the Threadmark name, or represent the project as endorsed by an AI provider.

2. Your content

You keep all rights to the conversations you export and the files you create. The extension does not claim a licence to your content, because it never receives it. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to export and store the material.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use the extension to access content you are not authorised to access, to circumvent a provider’s technical restrictions, or to redistribute someone else’s private conversations. Do not describe a modified build as an official release.

4. Third-party sites

Threadmark reads pages on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, DeepSeek, Grok, Poe, Mistral, Kimi and Doubao. Those services are independent, may change their pages at any time, and have their own terms. An adapter can break without notice; the generic reader and manual copy remain available.

5. No warranty

The beta is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Exported files can be incomplete — for example, uploaded attachments are not archived in this version. Always keep your own backups of important conversations.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the maintainer is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from use of the beta. Because the beta is free, total liability is limited to the amount you paid for it.

7. Changes and termination

The beta may change or stop being distributed at any time. A future paid tier will have its own terms and a clear price before any charge. Your locally stored data remains yours and exportable regardless.

8. Contact

Use the delivery channel through which you received this build, or the feedback instructions on the install page.
