Release notes · roadmap
What shipped, what’s next.
A short, honest log. Features are listed when they work, not when they are announced. Known limits sit next to the release they belong to.
v1.2.0
2026-10-24
Local site builder
- Generate a static archive from the whole library: dashboard, search and filters, full transcript pages, Markdown copies and data.json.
- Works from a folder over file:// — no server, no upload. Every page is sanitized and uses relative links.
- Local site button in the library, a site preview, progress and a downloadable ZIP.
v1.1.0
2026-10-23
First beta: the full export loop
- 11 platform adapters — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, DeepSeek, Grok, Poe, Mistral Le Chat, Kimi, Doubao — plus a generic page reader.
- 9 formats: Markdown, PDF, JSON, HTML, text, Word, CSV, Obsidian and Notion presets with local serializers.
- Batch export up to 50 sidebar conversations, with background tabs, progress, cancellation and a failure list.
- Local library with full-text search, platform and tag filters, preview, re-export, bulk ZIP and JSON backup.
- Local print-to-PDF pipeline with cover metadata and A4 layout; no server, login or daily cap.
- Popup, floating page button, context menu, Alt+Shift+E / Alt+Shift+C shortcuts and notifications.
- English and 简体中文, light and dark themes, reduced-motion support, optional per-site access.
- Recorder: live capture, message-level selection, and new/append/insert writes to Markdown, text or HTML. Local file targets use the File System Access API; JSON and CSV are new-file only.
- Renamed to Threadmark, new bookmark icon, Recorder settings, Alt+Shift+R, and a write queue that finishes when the Recorder tab reopens.
Known limits. Images are linked, not embedded. Uploaded file attachments are not yet archived. Batch jobs do not resume after the service worker is interrupted. Adapter selectors are maintained against captured page structures and can lag behind a site redesign. Store listing and automatic updates are not live yet.
Roadmap
The next honest milestones.
Ordered by what beta users hit first, not by what is easiest to market. Dates are deliberately absent.
| Milestone | Why it matters | Status |
|---|---|---|
| R1 · Attachment fidelity | Archive uploaded files, embed images into Markdown, and export Claude project files as a ZIP. This is the most-cited gap in the category. | Next |
| R2 · Resumable / scheduled batch | Survive service-worker restarts, retry only failures, and run an incremental backup on a schedule with a local manifest. | Next |
| R3 · Store listing + auto-update | Remove the developer-mode step and ship signed updates through the Edge Add-ons store. | Next |
| R4 · Selector health & feedback | Detect empty or partial extractions, explain what changed, and let a user report a broken adapter with one click — locally. | Planned |
| R5 · PDF themes & CJK typography | A few print-grade themes, better Chinese/Japanese line breaking, and optional page-number footers. | Planned |
| R6 · RAG JSONL + audit manifest | A chunked JSONL output and a SHA-256 manifest for teams that need reproducible archives. | Later |
| R7 · Optional sync and share | End-to-end encrypted share pages and an optional sync service — opt-in, paid, and off by default. It will never be required to export. | Later |
A note on pricing
The beta is free and unlimited. Pro is planned as a one-time purchase for heavy-archive features (R1, R2, R6) — not a subscription and not a paywall on PDF. Anyone who installed the beta keeps the free tier.
